Lace walls in Ireland

One of the funniest anecdotes of our trip happened on the bus on our way to Moher cliffs. Our Irish guide was telling us about some of the "lace walls" that crisscrossed the landscape. As some of the students didn't understand "lace" I translated the word and said "puntillas" to the guide, who repeated on the microphone for everyone to hear: "putillas?". You can imagine how funny that sounded!

IT STARTED WITH A KISS

Have a look at this article about our medieval festival written by Annie Bennet and published in 1998 in The travel section of The Daily Telegraph. It is interesting to see our own fiesta through the eyes of a British journalist. You can also read the translation which appeared a few days later in Diario de Teruel.
