I think this video is quite difficult to understand. I'm not complaining about its level, actually I prefer to make things more complicated so I'm enforced to study more. I'd like to know if this is a required knowledge at the end of the year or what we already should understand and things are only getting worse. Maybe I would ask somebody, I'm also looking for on Internet, to find some listening with same difficult as this one but with the transcription, so we can get difficult words sound and spelling.
Amalia, the listening exercises of the final exam will have a smilar level of difficulty. You must take into account that it'll be REAL English (news reports, interviews, advertisements....) It's not a matter of "studying" more, but of being exposed to the language as much as possible. I'd recommend that you listen to English as often as you can; try the podcasts I suggested (I know some of the BBC ones also have the script) and/or borrow some of the magazines we have in the library (Speak Up, Hot English). We've also got loads of TV series, documentaries and films with English subtitles and there are plenty of videos on the Net that can be watched with subtitles. Regards.
Many times my problem is vocabulary, sometimes I could transcript the word somebody is saying but I don't understand it, and others I don't know the real sound and get confused, so I will try as often as I can to play those you tell which have scripts with. I think more words you know easier to understand a conversation and better writings. As you can see I don't have visited the podcast. I'm always running out of time, this is why I don't like this new teaching system, which you can only be for two years in. If you learn "slower" than other people, what about being four or three years? I don't see the problem, but I would be grateful for anybody giving other opinions. Thanks.
Hi Amalia: I don´t understand you about the years that you can study. In my case I also need many time because of my short time. Can you explain me the matter of the new teaching system? thanks

Good luck for everybody.
