How many texts do teenagers send in a month?
Check out this article about how many texts teeanges send in a month: http://mashable.com/2010/10/14/nielsen-texting-stats/ . Over 3,000! Even with pitfalls such as thumb arthritis or “Blackberry thumb” (excellent neologism, check it in Wikipedia)ha, ha!), the trend for SMS texting continues apace. The article quotes a recent study in which the ability to send texts was the number one reason teenagers bought a mobile phone. The scariest part of this article is the fact that spoken language has decreased in teens by 14%. Will we bother speaking to each other at all in ten years’ time? A worrying thought, don’t you think? It's incredible! I can't belive that anybody can spent so much time with their mobile phone because sending messages is the thing that I hate most, I read the comments after the article and there are people that say that in Europe and US there are flatrate to sent all the messages you want, but I thing that it's only posible if like one of them say you send the same message to 30 people, but if you have to write one sms for each person I think it's imposible if you aren' all day writing with your phone.
ReplyDeleteI have 24 years so for my aged in agree with the article I must send 1630 messages a month, and I can say that a month like last month that I have to answer a lot of happy birthday messages I could send less than 50, because I prefer a call, I believe that it's better because you loose less time and you can get the decision sooner.
